Why I trust HIM

Why I Trust HIM

He is absolutely trustworthy
It is impossible for Him to be otherwise…
So I trust Him.

He is not a son of man
Hence He changes His mind not…
Therefore I trust Him completely.

He is kind and gracious,
Slow to anger and rich in love
That is why I trust Him so…

He is all knowing and wise
And holds the whole world in His hands
I therefore trust Him with all that concerns me.

His thoughts towards me are filled with hope and peace
And all His plans for me are good…
I cannot help but place all my trust in Him.

He is forever faithful and true
One who will never abandon me
I completely surrender to Him.
I trust YOU Jesus….
For YOU are my everything!

Grace....Grace...Grace!!!

Grace...Grace...Grace

I did not see this coming, nothing warned me of this battle, but it has come and I have to some how face it. It is critical how I respond to it...
Lord in several portions of scripture, You instruct us to be still and know that You are God, You have promised to fight our battles and this is no exception. I have been down this lane, twice, and it is painful and tough. But You have always proved Yourself strong on my behalf.

I ask for your grace to be still, grace to trust YOU and Your word in spite of what my circumstance is  saying, Grace to know and believe that You are good and Your plans for me are good. You are the lifter of my head,my strong Tower, my Banner, my Deliverer, and my place of refuge.  You give me a shield of victory and You are a God who never fails!

My heart is steadfast, although my flesh is screaming! I choose to believe in You, to Trust in You and wait for the deliverance that You are going to bring my way. I am Victorious, because...You already won the victory on my behalf!

In this season....LORD, I ask for your grace...grace...grace!

I love you,

Mwiza.

Faith.....Patience....Decisions.....The future

The Orthodox church bell, rings again, like it always does! Alas! it is a new day! well, five months till 2014 comes to a close and I feel like, there is still a lot to accomplish and take care of. On top of the list is Grad school research, well, I was really excited about the research topic, and couldn't wait to collect data and analyse, its findings.....well, I I have to move at the pace of my Supervisor (she is really great by the way) but she has not emailed back the last copy of my research proposal and I am beginning to wonder if I will beat the deadlines! Lord, I still trust You to give me all the wisdom and knowledge that I need.

who invented GRE?? I have kind of read all the sections of this not exactly interesting Graduate entry exam, when I got the quantitative reasoning section, I went blank! who remembers primary school math?? well, I don't! I am thankful for my super sharp cousins who are willing to tutor me! Lol. Lord as I think of the PhD  applications and possible move to Texas for four years! I commit all of this to you. It is almost scary to think that I might have to wait to have babies till I am done with the Doctorate studies.....and all my nieces and nephews would all grown up and I hope they don't forget their lovely auntie Hattie!

I guess one of the most important questions of this season is.....about my Mukunzi! Lord I will choose to trust You. I know and believe that Your plans for me are good and that You love me unconditionally.

I commit the next five months into your hands, grad school research, PhD applications and the wait for my Mukunzi prince charming to arrive. Not my will but Your will be done! I can't wait for how all of this is going to unfold!#faith#Patience#Decisions#thefuture#

Into the unknown

Time and again, we are each required to take the next step in life. it could be a new job, career, neighborhood.....

we will hear all kinds of comments from friends and family, most of it well intended. others might be applauding and cheering us while there are those who are doubting and questioning our every move.

This morning i was reminding during my personal devotions, that we have an anointing as Christians and this anointing teaches all things and therefore the Holy Spirit is available to lead us into the right direction.
Even as i launch out into the unknown in nine days....i know deep in my heart and spirit that it is not really the unknown, because Jesus has gone before me and has prepared all that i need for the next assignment. I will therefore trust Him to lead me into a more spacious land, my best days are still ahead of me.

poem

Through the eyes of Faith
The clouds are grey
lightening strikes the sky
as thunders roar
even then
the sun shines
through the rain

Through the eyes of faith
I can clearly see
The sun rising from its chambers
As it majestically moves
As it brightens my clouds
With warmth of love
And hope of a new season

Through the eyes of faith
I can see my Redeemer
reaching out to me
holding me with
His Righteous right Hand
as He quietens me with His love

Through the eyes of faith
I can smell
the sweet fragrance
of His spirit
ushering me
into a new season

Through the eyes of faith
I can see my King
coming down
with thousands of angels
To come for His Bride
and take Her Home
where there is Joy everlasting
streets of gold shining forth
and love forever more!!!

Time and seasons

life offers us many choices and opportunities, however it is important to know the seasons in life. when to knock a door, when to close one and when to run right in. I'm in a season of closing one door and waiting for the next one to open. it is both exciting and scary at times! however I'm glad that the anticipation and excitement is on the higher side compared to fear. I know that Jesus who is my Shepherd and Lord will lead to the next assignment. Lord, I'm waiting on You.
