Into the unknown

Time and again, we are each required to take the next step in life. it could be a new job, career, neighborhood.....

we will hear all kinds of comments from friends and family, most of it well intended. others might be applauding and cheering us while there are those who are doubting and questioning our every move.

This morning i was reminding during my personal devotions, that we have an anointing as Christians and this anointing teaches all things and therefore the Holy Spirit is available to lead us into the right direction.
Even as i launch out into the unknown in nine days....i know deep in my heart and spirit that it is not really the unknown, because Jesus has gone before me and has prepared all that i need for the next assignment. I will therefore trust Him to lead me into a more spacious land, my best days are still ahead of me.

poem

Through the eyes of Faith
The clouds are grey
lightening strikes the sky
as thunders roar
even then
the sun shines
through the rain

Through the eyes of faith
I can clearly see
The sun rising from its chambers
As it majestically moves
As it brightens my clouds
With warmth of love
And hope of a new season

Through the eyes of faith
I can see my Redeemer
reaching out to me
holding me with
His Righteous right Hand
as He quietens me with His love

Through the eyes of faith
I can smell
the sweet fragrance
of His spirit
ushering me
into a new season

Through the eyes of faith
I can see my King
coming down
with thousands of angels
To come for His Bride
and take Her Home
where there is Joy everlasting
streets of gold shining forth
and love forever more!!!

Time and seasons

life offers us many choices and opportunities, however it is important to know the seasons in life. when to knock a door, when to close one and when to run right in. I'm in a season of closing one door and waiting for the next one to open. it is both exciting and scary at times! however I'm glad that the anticipation and excitement is on the higher side compared to fear. I know that Jesus who is my Shepherd and Lord will lead to the next assignment. Lord, I'm waiting on You.
